South Run: 

Step 1 - Check your email!  *For 4:30AM practices, email sent by 3:45AM.  For 6:00 AM practices, email sent by 5:15 AM.

Step 2 - Call 703-791-3289 for a recorded message.

Step 3 - Call the pool @ 703-866-0566.  

Note - If FFX County Schools dismiss two hours early &/or afternoon activities are canceled due to weather conditions, there will be NO afternoon practices held.

Tuckahoe & Madeira: 

These two pools follow Arlington County Public Schools.  SDS families should check Arlington County Public School Status Click here for A.C.P.S. emergency closings web page when weather is inclement. Also listen to local radio, when A.C.P.S. are closing early or closed all day, SDS will not hold practice.  If schools are delayed, we wil hold practices as scheduled.

For Weekend Sea Devil Swim Clinics:

Please call the Sea Devil Voicemail number - 703/917-9208 - then press 8 for an outgoing message from Clinic Director Johanne Danver.

If there is not message indicating we are cancelled then we plan to hold clinics.

As weather conditions change rapidly, please always use your best judgement when deciding to travel during inclement weather.
